Opposite the V&A Museum in London, this Georgian building required 100% external scaffolding to allow redecoration of front and rear elevations, together with platforms and walkways for extensive re-roofing and other maintenance.

Ideal Scaffolding was contracted to provide a solution to design, supply and erect scaffolding to prohibit any access to the prison utilising, tin sheets and double razor wire, whilst still providing a safe working platform for works to continue.

Scaffold decks and walkways were erected to allow steel work to be inserted into the existing pitched/flat roof from which a new roof could be constructed.

Scaffolding was supplied to allow access to 3 sides of the building so that extensive roof maintenance could progress. A "drop lift" had to be constructed off the existing roof to allow safe access to all 3 sides.

Scaffold was supplied to allow access to all cladding and windows on all elevations of this Building. Safety rails were erected on the flat roof for extensive roof maintenance.
